What is 100% recyclable spout pouches?
Mono-polyethylene laminate (mono-PE) spout pouch is a type of barrier film that is both flexible and fully recyclable. As we know from the name, mono-PE is composed of polyethylene (PE) only. Compare with traditional films that are composed of multiple different materials, like PET, Nylon, and Aluminum foil. Mono-PE is highly temperature-resistant and easier to process and recycle.

What's the different for 100% recyclable spout pouch & regular spout pouch:
100% recyclable spout pouch is newly developed environmentally friendly material. The printing layer and the heat sealing layer are made of LDPE, it can be directly recycled by the recycling organization, which makes the nozzle bag as a liquid packaging in the future more environmentally friendly, sustainable and low-carbon. Mono-plastic packaging is easier to collect, sort and recycle efficiently, meaning it is the product of choice for manufacturers who care about reducing their impact on the planet.
Tradition plastic spout pouches are made of 2 layers or 3 layers of different material layer, it is difficult to separate the packaging layers for subsequent recycling, even during production and processing. Coextruded and laminated structures rely on the working together of their layers. If the layers are easily separable, the structure fails its purpose. The ability to bond multiple layers to achieve the inherent properties of this flexible packaging has always been at odds with efforts to improve recyclability.
